Kupecz intellectual property

András Kupecz is a European patent litigator with a dual qualification as “Advocaat” as well as a Dutch and European patent attorney. András’ focus is on patent law in the life sciences, (bio)chemical and energy resources sectors. His experience includes representing clients in patent cases regarding medical devices, biosimilars and small molecule pharmaceuticals, frequently in pan-European patent matters. Trained as a patent attorney András has also advised clients in a wide range of industries in patent office proceedings. András read law at the University of Amsterdam (LLM/LLB cum laude), and has a Masters degree in Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry (Utrecht University, BSc cum laude University College Utrecht). Before starting Kupecz intellectual property in 2013, András worked at the law firms of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Simmons & Simmons.

András Kupecz is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar and is a registered Dutch and European patent attorney.

András Kupecz is an editor of leading Dutch IP journal IER. He regularly speaks and publishes on the topics of life sciences and patent law.
